Seminary Extension Information
Christian Doctrine Class
Those
wanting to participate in the next NOBTS seminary certificate course,
"Christian Doctrine," need to make plans to come to the first class on Tuesday, January 17th at 6:30pm (The remaining classes will meet on Mondays through February 27th. See the Syllabus below for a detailed class schedule.) The class will meet at First Baptist Church
Gonzales in the chapel which is located at the back of the facility.
Please park on the south side parking lot.
New students will need to bring a check for $125 made out to First
Baptist Church Gonzales. It is very important that you bring the check
in order to register, otherwise your registration will be delayed until
the check is received. Returning students will need to bring a check
for $100.
The course requires two textbooks. The first, Fundamentals of the Faith by John Macarthur, will be available for purchase on the first day of class for $10.
The second text, which must be purchased before the first class meeting, is: Grudem, Wayne. Systematic Theology: An Introduction
to Biblical Doctrine. (Zondervan, 1994).
Students who are using Microsoft Office 97-2003 can use the following link to obtain Microsoft's "File Format Converter." After clicking the link, click the "download" button on the right side of the screen. Double-click the file after you have downloaded it to your computer. After installing this program, students will be able to open and edit office documents in the newer formats like ".docx."
