God |
God’s attributes are the qualities that are true about His Person:
1. He is
HOLY. (Exodus 15:11)
2. He is
RIGHTEOUS AND JUST. (Psalm 119:137) This means that there
is perfect
agreement between God’s nature
and all that He does. His decisions are always right and
true.
3. He is
SOVEREIGN. (Isaiah 46:9-10) Nothing is out of His control.
4. He is
ETERNAL. (Isaiah 44:6) God has always existed, and will
always exist.
5. He
NEVER CHANGES. (Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8)
6. He is
OMNISCIENT. (Psalm 139:1-6) God knows all things.
Nothing ever surprises
Him.
7. He is
OMNIPRESENT. (Proverbs 15:3; Psalm 139:7- 12). God is
everywhere in His
creation.
8. He is
OMNIPOTENT. (Jeremiah 32:17) God is all powerful, He can
do all things.
9. He is
LOVE. (John 3:16) God is love. His love is unconditional;
it is not based on how
lovely we are or on our merit.
10. He is
TRUTH. (Psalm 31:5; John 14:6)
