In 2007…

• January/February 2007 – A team of 3 was sent to our adopted people group to encourage our field team, pray on-site for the people of Yemen, and to continue work in English institutes that teaches college-age students.

• January-December 2007 – Several teams were sent out each month during our Super Tuesday outreach ministry. Teams were sent to meet those that are new in our community for the purpose of introducing them to the people of our church, to the ministries of our church, and to the Gospel.

• January-November 2007 – We  continued our Sunday Night Lighthouse Bibles Studies in our community.

• January-December 2007 – In May of 2005, we began a partnership with the “Greater Baton Rouge Community Clinic.” The clinic offers screening for dental, medical, mental health and vision care services to the low-income, uninsured, working of Ascension Parish. The screening is done on a bi-monthly basis.

• March/April 2007 – Several teams were sent throughout our community to distribute “The Case for Easter” in several subdivisions.

• April 2007 – A team of 29 were sent to Rio Bravo, Mexico to continue the work that we have been doing each spring…leading VBS, showing the Jesus film, building churches, and encouraging church leaders.

• April 2007 – Our church hosted a craft booth at the Ascension Parish Bicentennial Celebration at the Lamar Dixon Expo Center. We provided Mother’s Day pictures for many in our community, as well as gift books and literature.

• June 2007 - A team of 35 was sent to Michigan to continue our participation in the 300,000 strong Arab/Muslim population. God continues to give us favor in those communities, allowing us to serve that community with the love of Christ.

• July 2007 – A team of two were sent to Dubai to participate in a ministry of encouragement to our workers in the Middle East.

• November 2006 – A team of 3 was sent to our adopted people group from our church. We participated in sharing American culture at a university. We also participated in member care and conversational English at an English Institute.
